Same happens with verbose boot where the text gets more corrupted the longer my phone is on.) Now, I think there's still a way to fix it, and that's getting a dumped NOR from a donor device of the same model, slightly modifying it (replacing Serial number, calibration data, etc) and flashing it to the faulty one. Trying to do anything results either ( ) ( ) (those were my attempts to restore the phone. This means that I can't even make an SSH ramdisk and try to format everything from there - it's just a brick. However, by not being careful enough when creating a custom RootFS, my phone's NOR got corrupted in a way that now, the phone fails to boot with any kernel (I've tried initializing restores for every major version of iOS from 7 to 12 with verbose boot enabled, but to no avail: it just hangs at random places during the boot process). (Although it was a spare device, I still refuse to experiment on my other ones until I get this one fixed.) Continuation to that story - I learnt how to boot my CFW, and after that I started experimenting and customizing the IPSW. About that post where I've managed to install a CFW on my 5s - my phone got bricked. Step 1: Install openssh (7.9p1-3) in Cydia Step 2: Get these Debian packages from Coolstar's Electra Repo onto your PC in a folder apt-key\_1.8.2-1\_b apt-lib\_1.8.2\_sileo\_b apt\_1.8.2\_b cydia\_2.3\_b \_1.5.0\_b system-cmds\_805.220.1-3\_b uikittools\_2.0.1\_b zsh\_5.7.1\_b Warning: This next step will remove Cydia and APT Step 3: Install apt-lib (1.8.2-sileo) in Cydia Step 4: we need to use scp and ssh to move the packages to the iOS device to be installed by dpkg. After Sileo is installed, you can add BACK the sources in Sileo. Sileo install on Unc0ver iOS 12.4 A12 & #x200B Warning: Following this tutorial will remove your Cydia and sources.
